Question: What is Your Favorite Garden Vegetable?

Just seeing if you all are awake out there on this cold, COLD day...

What is your favorite garden vegetable? This can be something you grow yourself, or something you just like to buy... I don't mind if you have 2 favorites... or more. Whatever. You can also share if you DO like to grow it in your garden. You can even share the variety, if you'd like!

Hmmm... I will have to think a while on my own question. I will have to narrow it down from like 15 things... yikes! :)

Lots to pick from...I am going with sweet corn! We area always craving to eat it right off the cob!!! Love to make cream corn and cut the corn off the cob for freezing as well. We always run out of it before any other veggie we "put up" for the winter. I am trying three varieties of corn this year..and early, mid, and late variety to extend the season of enjoyment!!

I think my FAVORITE is Zucchini. We saute it in a little butter, with onions. And add salt and pepper, I can already taste it! Anything fresh from the garden is awesome! Strawberries, sugar snap peas, green beans, watermelon. I'm getting hungry!!! I also love Basil. (i know not a veggie) It's great in a salad or in a cold meat sandwich!

Our favorites are Incredible Sweet Corn, and sun-ripen tomatoes!!! I'd like to try the heirloom variety this year.

I am from New Jersey...so I'd have to say a tomato! Nothing like a Jersey tomato!
