We're Divin' In...

When I was younger, I did 4H, but I didn't really DO 4H... like I did gardening. And all I was allowed to do in our garden was to pull weeds. And I ended up taking some green beans that were my aunt's because ours weren't ready yet... So, I'm glad I got THAT off my chest!

But, NOW! We are knee deep and getting deeper FAST in the 4H hoopla! This is the first year Deklyn will be able to take the "real" 4H. Austin is still in Junior 4H. Deklyn is taking Sheep, Goats & Poultry. Since we know NOTHING about Goats, and very little about sheep, this is going to be fun! ;)

But, for the sake of my kids learning about the animals, they (and I!) are going to learn!

This should be fun and a good learning experience!

Good Luck in 4H. We had a blast in 4H. We are city folk so the idea of working with cows was a challenge. I can't believe how much fun we had. We knew nothing about how to walk them or show them. We were taught. I still remember this big brown swiss that stood on my foot. I have a permanent mark where the cow stood on my foot. It's so fun and rewarding.
