Tonight, I am praying for our country as we are making a potentially gear-shifting kind of vote. And it's very scary, people.
I don't want to get all political, so I won't! But remember what things we value as we make our vote count. I don't ever think I've dreaded an election as much as I do this one. I'm thinking about just staying in bed for the next, oh, 4 years. Maybe more, I'll let you know.

Better Week
Man! Have I gotten a little lazy on the blogging this week! This week was so busy... hubby and I got 2 date nights! One for my B'day, and one with some good friends from our church. So my sister, Katie, watched them on Monday and she watched Koen on Friday. Hubby and I hardly ever get to go out, but this week was a special treat! All of the other nights were filled as well... SO! I think this week is going to be slower (I hope!). I can get back to blogging, and get some pictures on... maybe some other fun stuff.
This week I am really reminded though, that our church family (of 2 years now!) are so wonderful! I love the group that is in our worship team, where I get the honor of drumming and singing with. I also have some great friends that are so much fun, and so very loving. I can't wait to see how much more our church family gets blessed in the future! We are starting to grow, physically and spiritually. And I can just feel new exciting things coming! I am part of the Women's Ministry and we have some wonderful classes coming up for our women that I am really looking forward to. And I am very much looking forward to working with the other women in the group.
The Lord is so good! We also had a Harvest Party this Saturday with our church family, and it was so much fun. The boys really enjoyed themselves too.
Like I said, more to come this week!

This Week
This week is going to be very busy! And I thought we were going to be able to slow down a bit. Well, maybe after Christmas!
The week isn't looking so hot for Koen, unfortunately. He is getting his shots on Tuesday and he has a doctor appointment on Friday. He is turning 6 months on Saturday!!!
The boys have a dentist appointment this week, and soccer practice
I have a Chiropractor appointment (this should be the last of weekly visits, my back was pretty bad!). I also need to find a good day to go shopping. I am looking at either Monday or Thursday... I hate to wait until later in the week though, I think a lot of the good deals are gone! BTW- I spent $82. last week in groceries! That's a big change from the $175.+
Also, on Saturday, our Children's Ministry at our Church is having an Auction. It is going to be at the Salem Center Fire Department. Pray that this will help with funds for the year. We need money to take the kids out on some fun trips (zoo, etc.), to buy bibles for kids who can't afford them, kids conferences, etc. I am head of the Nursery and it would be nice to have more opportunities to minister to the parents, when we are able to do more for the kids. Also, pray for me as we will be starting a church web site, and I will be putting it together, and running/ updating it. Pray that everything runs smoothly and that it really can be a ministry tool.

I can't believe it has almost been 6 months now since my precious boy (#4) was born. I thank God everyday for pulling us through. We have definitely been blessed. I will put more pictures on maybe Friday or Saturday, when Koen turns 1/2 year old... Oh geez... now I'm getting a little teary-eyed. Happy tears, happy tears.
