Happy Father's Day!

To all of the Father's who have been there for their children, in the good times and bad. Loving them for all that they are and will become. For living through sleepless first nights and first clumsy steps, driving lessons and dating, watching your little girl walk down the aisle, watching your son hold his first child in his arm

Thank you daddies for all that you have done, and will continue to do, because YOU are a great dad!

Thanks to MY dad for making me tough enough to be able to keep up with MY boys. Although he never could have known- while he MADE me hold a worm in my hand, or when he and I stood in the yard in the middle of a thunderstorm when I was young, that I would have been toughened up to be able to use those "skills" someday with my sons. And although he will never know the impact he made on my life, and though he will never fully know the seeds he has planted in his grandsons... Thank you dad.

Thank you also to my father-in-law for raising a patient and loving son, who grew to be the best husband a woman could ask for. Thank you for treating me like one of your own, and thank you for the love that you give my boys. I couldn't ask for a better Father-in-law.

And last but not least, thank you to my husband. A wonderful father. Patient. Loving. Forgiving. Slow to anger. Full of prayer. For bedshakes and stories at night. For scrambled eggs and a silly song in the morning. For showing our boys the kind of man they should be, not afraid to do the dishes and to make some dinner. Not afraid to work on roofing our house, sweat in the yard or to change a stinky diaper. Thank you for the life you have given us. Thank you for making an honest living. Thank you for being a great dad and husband.
