Muddy Boots Farm Population Explosion!

In the last month, on Muddy Boots Farm, our population has literally EXPLODED. 2 weeks ago we were blessed with 3 baby sheep and 12 baby puppies! The weekend before all of that, we actually got 2 homing pigeons (which I will show you coming up!). And this last week, we got 6 lbs of bees! AND a baby goat! (no, our goats didn't have babies.)

So, without further ado... we will start the picture montage! Are you ready for farm animal overload!? ( WARNING: If you are allergic to cuteness in any way, you MAY want to skip this post. Also, if you are allergic to bees, we promise- YOU WILL NOT get stung from this post.)

Here we GO!

I'm not sure if Jacob sheep have blue eyes or if it is an unwanted trait, but our little female, who we have named Charlotte, have crystal clear blue eyes:

Here is the twins (Lindsay's babies) together in the pasture:

Here is the male twin, who we have named Jack:

Caden loves the little animals, especially because they are more his size!

Here is Myst and her little male. He does not yet have a name:

Hubby likes Homing Pigeons, and about 1 1/2 years ago we had a mom, dad and baby that got ate by a wild cat. So we are starting over!

Girl still has all of her 12 pups! Now their eyes are opening!

Here is the pile-o-pups!

Here is the package we got on Thursday, 2 boxes of bees!

For each box of bees, you have a queen. Here is how the queen bee comes packaged:

Here is the hubby, dumping the bees into the hive.

On Friday evening, Deklyn and I went to some friends house and they gave us a goat baby. Deklyn is taking his little goat to 4H this year.

Deklyn is feeding the baby goat, Max, a bottle.

Deklyn is in love with his little goat:

Say "hi" to Max!

SO, what do you think? I love it....

Blue eyes are perfectly acceptable in Jacob Sheep. She is a little beauty :-)

Wow, lots of babies! We got our bees on Friday, right before a cold snap. My husband doesn't think they made it, we are waiting for it to warm up to find out. Ugh, I hope it wasn't money down the drain.
