Garden Fever....

And so it starts....  I am itching to get those new seed catalogs in the mail so I can start planning my garden for next year.

Is this an illness?  It might be.

I may have to go online and get all of those free seed catalogs and start making my lists, I will be ordering in 3 months so I NEED TO!  OK, I talked me into it....

Maybe I will plant a container of salad for in the house....  I DO have one I want to bring in...  And salad sounds REAL GOOD right now.

Are you itching to start YOUR gardens yet?  Mine has been done for about a month now, so I am ready to go again!  :)  What new things are you going to do next year?

This sounds like me too. Thinking of different things I want to plant. ALSO I named you to participate in a meme called "A DAY IN THE SLOW LIFE'. Visit my blog, take a look and join in if you'd like.

Yes! I'm definitely ready, especially because this year was such a bust for us. I have all kinds of ideas in my head and need to get them on paper. This is encouraging to me because last year I just had a really hard time figuring anything....like writer's block, but with gardening. Something new? I'd like to plant a patch of the loofah squash so I can sell them with my home made soap.

Fortunately and unfortunately I live in Arizona. It's great because we can garden all year long. I've just barely started planting a fall/winter garden. We still have winter squash coming off the vines and tomatoes that are just barely starting to produce again. The bad part is there is never a rest. I have to watch myself that I don't get burnt out from gardening. Although I certainty wouldn't this time of year because we are finally being able to enjoy our backyard again after a long, hot summer.
